Our Middle East company Kitvision deploys complete Digital Signage solutions for City Centre Mall in Cairo and Alexandria in collaboration with Samsung and the mall owner. The installation job took place throughout the night where our well prepared deployment team was ready to do their job. In total 60 screens have been installed including video wall solutions. Casing and stands have been designed by Kitvision and produced at our partner Kitdisplay.

Immediad signs an agreement with Post Danmark, the National Post office, of delivery of a digital signage turn-key retail solution. The solution is well integrated with the company’s new design profile. Immediad also delivers content and support.

After several rounds of selection The Danish Dental Association (TDDA) chose Immediad A/S as provider of Digital signage information systems for private clinics in Denmark. In close collaboration with The Danish Dental Association Immediad will launch a new version of our existing waiting room solution which includes our Dental TV content for great inspiration for patients around the country. Furthermore, TDDA will also participating in creation of content. In total TDDA have 5000 members in their association.

Growth continues within digital In-store POS solutions in Retail Market analysis show, that still more major Brands within Retail allocate budgets from 'Mass Media' like Television adds into digital POS campaigns in the shop. Among others - Procter and Gamble now realize the importance of using digital screens to influence consumers buying decisions in the shop rather than in their living room.

The market for digital signage reached 4bn USD worth in 2009. Growth is still expected – 23.5% year on year for software and 15.1% year on year for screens; according to a recent report from IMS Research

25% sales increase

A new survey documents an increase in sales of 25% for food products that were exposed on a digital signage network. This survey took place in a Dutch retail chain. A similar survey from Nielsen showed an increase of 25% for snack and candy products.

The users say that this functionality, which is also easy to use, makes the content on the screen much more targeted against their specific audience

Carlsberg rolls-out new convenience-promotion cooler solution from Immediad in four retail chains

The solution from Immediad involves two back-to-back LCD-panels in a new design – directly mounted and integrated with a convenience cooler based on two coolers and end racks. This has been rolled out in Danish chains Dansk Supermarked, COOP, SuperBest and SuperSpar.

The coolers are placed in the areas in front of the check-out lines when customers are on their way out of the store. Here they invite for impulse purchase of cool drinks which can be paid in the kiosks outside the check-out line. The solution is delivered as an end-to-end solution and based on Immediad’s unique use of cellular data network communication in a secure closed network. This makes quick implementation possible without integration into the IT-systems and networks of the store. It also makes the total convenience-promotion cooler more suited for moving around in the stores.

DSB S-tog (Greater Copenhagen city trains) launch information screen solution developed by Immediad

DSB S-tog had a goal of quick delivery of current information on deviation in traffic plans directly to the passengers waiting on the stations. To solve this Immediad was chosen as a end-to-end supplier of a dynamic information solution broadcasted via LCD flat screen panels and run by Immediad™Live Digital signage software and hardware. The solution was installed on Copenhagen Main Station and on Dybbølsbro station nearby. Each screen is divided in four channels: a promotion channel which makes it possible to send adds or image enhancing material as well as news, a channel informing about long term planned changes in traffic, a channel informing about sudden changes in traffic and a service channel shown as a streamer at the bottom of the screen – here information on defect elevators etc can be showed. DSB S-tog has people updating the system 24-7. They use Immediad Campaign Manager WEB.

New survey made by Gallup shows that patients are thrilled by HealthCare Channel

HealthCare Channel clearly showed its value for the subscribers and the analysis that Gallup conducted on the level of content for the system showed a very positive view by viewers. In January the survey was conducted amongst 200 waiting patients at dentists or GPs. The results were clear – 85% liked HealthCare channel or liked it very much. HealthCare Channel launch new ”Pick-and-choose” module on Scandefa dental fair in Copenhagen

Again this year HealthCare Channel was represented on the dental fair Scandefa in Copenhagen. Here the functionality of the new Pick-and-choose” module was demonstrated for the visitors. It makes it possible for the dental cliniques to compose the professional content they want to expose on their screens. It was also demonstrated how easy it is for the personnel to administer the system via the web – through Immediad Campaign Manager. The interest for this functionality was clear – and many cliniques signed up for HealthCare Channel

Denmarks most recognized magazine on marketing, the magazine Markedsføring, publishes an article about Immediads digital signage solutions. Immediad CEO John Christensen and two important Immediad customers are presented in the article. The main focus in the article is a documented 500 % sales increase caused by the presence of our system in retail.

Immediad hosts a conference on digital signage at Procter & Gamble in Dubai. The conference marks the start of a co-project between Immediad and Procter & Gamble to introduce digital point of sale (POS) solutions for the entire Middle East region. Procter & Gamble own and market brands such as Gilette, Lacoste and Head & Shoulders.

Immediad has contracted with Egypt's largest shopping mall to supply a 2. generation digital screen solution consisting of 32", 37" and 42" displays and a matrix of 9 ea. 42" screens. The network reaches one million customers monthly supporting brands and advertisers such as Coca-Cola, Wrigley's, Vodafone and large local brands.
